Streaming
It's simple. You connect your Google Drive to Uploom, and we pull your video file once to process it into a streaming-ready format. From that point onward your viewers watch from our fast edge cache, not from your Drive. That means your students get smooth playback and your Drive stays under its daily limits.
No. Uploom automatically adapts the video quality to each viewer's internet speed — this is called adaptive bitrate streaming. On top of that, we cache your most-watched content on our global edge network. When a hundred students all click play at the same time, everyone gets a fast start without lag.
Piracy Protection
We use two layers of protection. First, your video is split into tiny encrypted fragments (HLS encryption) — anyone who downloads a piece gets useless scrambled data. Second, we overlay a dynamic watermark showing the viewer's email address right on the video. If someone tries to screen-record, the watermark is baked into the capture, so you always know who leaked it.
